GovCertUK publishes information that will alert its community to incidents, issues, and other IT security relevant information. These alerts will be published whenever an issue comes to prominence, and should be acted upon by the Government community as soon as possible. The information contained in these alerts may be derived from a number of sources including other national CERTs, Open Source reporting, vendors, or through CESG’s own research activities. CESG through its CERT function (GovCertUK) will publish information that will alert its community to incidents, issues, and other IT security relevant information. These alerts will be published whenever an issue comes to prominence, and should be acted upon by the Government community as soon as possible.
